The lodge had a charming and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The decor had a rustic elegance that showcased the natural beauty of the surroundings. The common areas were easily accessible and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people like me to navigate and enjoy.
It would have been nice if the staff had been more attentive and helpful. They seemed too caught up in their own affairs and didn't provide the level of service I expected.

Who needs a lake when you have great conversation with the unfriendly staff?

One thing I absolutely loved about this rustic lodge was the cozy and charming decor. The log cabin design and the warm fireplace created a homely atmosphere that made me feel comfortable and relaxed during my stay. It reminded me of the good old days, and it was perfect for a senior woman like me who appreciates nostalgia. The general areas of the lodge, such as the lobby and dining area, were well-decorated and maintained, adding to the overall ambiance. Plus, the lodge was easily accessible for senior people like myself, with no stairs to climb and spacious hallways to navigate.
If I had to ask for one thing to make this vacation even better for senior people like me, I would suggest that the staff could be a bit more attentive and considerate towards our needs. Sometimes, it felt like the young workers there were too busy with their own tasks and didn't pay enough attention to the older guests.

Nada obvio.

We stayed for a week and packed in so much fun. We went kayaking and rafting in the crystal clear waters nearby, and even took a boat tour to explore more of the area. The best part was definitely the horseback riding and hiking/biking trails. We felt like adventurers exploring the beautiful scenery and taking Instagram-worthy pictures. It was an adrenaline rush and we loved every minute of it!
The only thing we wished for was more late-night entertainment. As young partygoers, we were looking for some fun activities in the evening after all the outdoor adventures.
